If I were able to travel back into time and meet my 13y/o self, what would I say to me?




Dear Self,


It's strange to be in this predicament I know but you can rest assured its me/you. I travelled all this way to tell you not to be so afraid in school. People are making fun of you now because you've grown and developed at an early age and children do not understand it.
High school is not so scary as you will soon find out. Steer clear of Rodomic Harry. He means you no good and in the end you'll be stronger but still hurt. Brian is going to be a great friend and though your friendship is great he is going to want more. Let him know you are flattered but respectfully decline as this heart break will be the catalyst in which you use to avoid men for a long long time.
You are a smart girl and you've got your head on straight. Your mother is very proud of you though she doesn't say so often. Stay strong, you're going to be a great woman someday.

My job is never done

It was a short weekend and a tiring day. Between driving and cleaning and working I don't know whether I'm coming or going. What we decided to do (and by we I mean my assistant, maintenance crew and myself) was start a lottery pool. We're actively trying to make it rich quick so we can kiss these jobs goodbye and live at 37,000 feet.
Nevertheless, I am still thinking about my would be readers here on blogspot. I still want what every girl wants...all the chocolate I can stand with none of the calories. And the perfect pair of jeans that hug tightly in all the right places and just makes your butt sit in such a way...sigh. Yes.

Right now I am trying to negotiate a deal with Ice.com for some deals on some hot jewelry. If you've ever seen the things I've seen on Ice.com...you'd pray to the gem gods for what ever deals I could muster out of the web. They have some very VERY nice baubles...check them out...you can buy now...but I'm sure I'll come up with something soon so try and wait for the deal...

A shopaholic's wake up call

Turned over in my bed around 5:45am. The low decible swishing of my blankets were overheard through a closed door by my two demon cats who immediately began meowing for their early saturday breakfast.
I contemplate ignoring their entreaty as the warmth of my bed, fueled by my slumbering body seduces me.
-MEOW!-
Nope, because even now, mini demon is shoving his paw beneath the door and creating his version of an alarm clock. When did they learn how to do that?! Not only is it ingenious because it's bloody annoying, its wrath free as I could never move fast enough to catch him in the act. Flippin smart aleck cat.

Guess I'll get up. Yay....(smirk)

My Thanksgiving

I know I've been gone for a few. I have to apologize. I've been over worked, under paid and I had to get away.

What is the sexiest garment you own? What makes you feel your most beautiful? Do you have it in different colors? Men, what one article of clothing can a woman own that drives you absolutely crazy?

It's been in my experience that the sexiest thing a woman can wear is not found in her closet. It's not in a pair of heels. Not in the makeup isle. She cannot go to Dr. NipTuck and get it inserted, pulled out, pinned back or pushed up.

The sexiest thing a woman can wear is her confidence. Confidence in yourself will carry you a long long way. Trends fade, looks slip and when you trip in those high heels confidence in yourself will help you to get up.


I cannot tell you how many times I didn't feel like I wore the best top to go with a skirt. My shoes didnt match my slacks perfectly or my make up felt so wrong for this photoshoot or that picture makes me look horrid. We all have these days. And if you don't, well then I hate you...lol.

Seriously, who doesn't feel like the whole world is staring and laughing at some point? I do. But, you can't let days like this keep you down. Confidence helps you to look attractive...no matter what. You can be in sweats and your confidence will have someone taking notice of you.

You've heard that saying, never leave home without it. Take your confidence where ever you go. Stand up straight, square your shoulders, put a song in your head ( or turn on your mp3 player )and step with purpose. You don't need to have a destination in mind...but you need to look as if you're just enjoying the moment.

Life is a gift, and confidence is the bow. It just makes everything look and feel better.
